Now it’s time to finish our mittens with two small thumbs! We are so happy that you chose to knit with us this year and we wish you a truly wonderful and relaxing Christmas holiday! From all of us at JÄRBO – MERRY CHRISTMAS.
RIGHT-HAND MITTEN
THUMB
Insert a larger size dpn through sts below waste yarn; insert a second dpn through sts above waste yarn. Carefully remove waste yarn = 16 sts.
With larger size dpn: Divide sts evenly onto 4 dpn.
Work around following rows 1-9 of Chart C (repeat sts 1-8, 2 times around).
With color 2: Continue knitting around with color 2 only until thumb is about 2¼ in / 6 cm long.
Shape thumb tip: *K2tog*; rep *-* around = 8 sts remain.
Cut yarn and draw end through remaining sts; tighten.
LEFT-HAND MITTEN
Work thumb as for right-hand mitten.
FINISHING
Weave in all ends neatly on WS. Block mittens to given measurements
